So I have been away for a bit and haven’t posted anything at all, that is because I have been quite busy. First thing is I decided on a whim to go back to school and signed up for two college courses, only to figure out that it was a pretty bad idea to do something such as this without thinking it through. So once this semester is over that is done. I was also trying to finish up my CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) certification, which I did just this past week, and I am now re-certified as a trainer through the ISSA, which I originally certified through. And then of course there is work, being I still have a full time job.
A couple of weeks ago decided to try something crazy, so I have been doing this fasting protocol which is about to come to an end, I would say it has been quite the success as I am down 13.8 pounds in total and am the lightest I have been in 20+ years. Being a power lifter for so long I never cared about how much I weighed, though I never competed I trained that way, now since I have beaten my body to death for so long I have come to a general conclusion I need to weigh much less and change my way of training which I am working on. As of this morning I was down to 203.8 lbs. and I am pleased with that so far, still have a ways to go since my goal weight is about 180.
From ending this fast I will go into Intermittent Fasting doing 16/8 and keeping to about 2 meals a day and making sure I get all of my required calories during that time period, I will also be doing Keto/Carnivore, as this needs to be my new lifestyle when it comes to eating, it is how my body seems to function best and I am going to run with that for the foreseeable future.
