The Journey Begins

OK, so this is a revamp of the site I had up previously which I was trying to consolidate into my LinkedIn page but I didn’t think that was such a good idea so I purchased a new site name and now have the site back up and running.

One of the things I am trying to do here is advertise myself in terms of my expertise in landing a regular job and to also drum up some business from doing proofreading and editing work and doing firearms instruction. With a primary goal of doing more of the proofreading and editing than firearms instruction most likely, as it is easier to do proofreading and editing on the road while I travel for my full-time job over doing firearms instruction which would require me to be at home and have access to my home range and my firearms.

Just recently I changed jobs, as a contractor it happens but you always hope to string along each job as long as possible, and this last one was 2 years, and this new one is pretty promising as the contract is for 4 years to start and the position I am in is one that manages other people so it could be a bit more long term for sure. In the end we will see, as the transition was quick and I had a couple other things going on which never got a chance to pan out but still might.

I am going to try and write here as often as I can but not promising anything much at all as my schedule is pretty nutty.

  1. Hello there, There’s no doubt that your blog could possibly be having internet browser compatibility problems.
Whenever I take a look at your website in Safari, it looks fine however when opening in I.E., it has some overlapping issues.
I simply wanted to give you a quick heads up! Aside from that, great website!

    1. I just moved the site to a new host and haven’t had the opportunity to set it back up completely, in the process of doing that now, but it will be a couple of days. I hope that once that happens it will resolve the IE issues.
      Thanks,
      David
