In putting together this online resume I would like to provide you with a little background on me and what I am doing and what I can do for you as a potential new employer. I am working at Amentum as a Technical Publications Manager supporting PdM SATCOM, and have also filled the same role at Sev1Tech (also supporting PdM SATCOM), L2 Defense (supporting various programs) and GDIT supporting PM Mission Command on various programs. Prior to my current position I was with CACI (Senior Technical Writer), AASKI Technology (Lead Technical Writer/Trainer), ManTech International MCIS Division (Documentation Lead), State of Delaware, Department of Information & Technology (Project Management Specialist). My longest running project ended with ManTech International as the Production Control Manager, managing the schedule for all the technical publications for the project. At CACI my primary job was as the Operations Manager, where I directed all components of the project to deliver our technical publications on time each month. At SDI Government Solutions I was the Project Manager for the TMDS (Technical Manual Data Sharing) Project, and the last company in this 7 year project was USFalcon, where I was the Senior Lead Technical Writer, this project supports LEO Tech Pubs with the conversion of Army Technical Publications from regular text based to XML based so the information can be reused and more efficiently stored and to convert all the TMs to the new Army Two-Level Maintenance Standard.

I am a very organized, self-motivated worker, but I enjoy working as a team player. My belief is that since we spend most of our lives in the workplace, work should be a pleasant experience. As an Illustrator and Technical Writer/Editor, I have a vast amount of experience working with many of today’s most advanced programs and military standards, including:

  • AutoCAD 2008
  • Adobe Photoshop CC
  • Adobe Illustrator CC
  • Adobe Dreamweaver CC
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Corel Painter IX.5
  • MIL-STD-40051-1C and -2C
  • MIL-STD-2361C
  • MIL-HDBK-1222C

….and many more applications.

I have 27 total years of experience working in many disciplines, from residential/commercial engineering, HVAC, Electrical Control Panels, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, residential/commercial architecture, technical illustration, technical writing, and web design.

My current aim is to locate a position using my current skills, entrepreneurial spirit and drive to secure a position as a Project Manager, Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager or Technical Documentation Manager for a medium to large corporation involved in engineering, advertising, graphic design, or government contracts, which at a future time will allow for upward mobility.

I  have received my Associate of  Arts in Liberal Arts in 2017, and will seek Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute (PMI) this likely will not occur until mid 2020 or 2021.
